ZenFri is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience and passion for social media communication, blogging and community leadership for a term position.
We are a creative arts company in Winnipeg preparing to release a ground-breaking mobile game titled Clandestine: Anomaly. The successful candidate will join our internal team, acting as our Community Manager by overseeing all social media outlets and contributing content to support our community and growing fan-base.
Qualifications and Experience
> Has work experience, training and/or education in advertising, PR, journalism, brand building, online marketing or a similar field.
> Able to work under specific communication criteria and act as the voice of the company thorough dedicated use of Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Youtube, Tumblr, Imgur, Vine, and other networks.
> Able to independently produce compelling blog content, relevant to the game.
> Has experience communicating unique or “first-of-it’s-kind” features and products to the general public.
> Demonstrated ability to work with a team to execute an overarching marketing strategy and then drive that strategy out to the public, through sound and analytics-driven methods.
> Ability to fluidly change course as needed in a fast paced environment.
> Willingness to work evenings and weekends during product launch period.
> An interest in gaming, and sci-fi.
> An interest or passion for new technology (specifically Augmented Reality)
> Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, English, IT, or related
> Bilingual writing skills in English and French
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
> Interact online with our community and participate in social media.
> Build and maintain our content distribution network by way of social media channels
> Minute by minute participation in conversations that surround our content and brand, answer user questions.
> Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding our brand, report to appropriate parties.
> Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites (as needed).
> Tag and title content, with an understanding of how the word’s chosen impact natural search traffic and rankings via recurrent optimized content.
> Manage and track link building campaigns.
> Create and update weekly and monthly reports.
> Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns.
