Next Week, ZenFri will be participating in All Access 2016 in a big way. Though this will be the first time we’ve attended the local conference traditionally geared towards the film and television industry, the conference has expanded into the interactive and digital media space and we’ve been fortunate enough to be one of four local companies participating in the first ever Interactive Digital Media Showcase. We’ll be showing off our augmented reality project Clandestine: Anomaly.
Beyond the Showcase, Corey will also be a part of a panel discussion focusing on Manitoba’s first Creation Lab titled, “MB Focus: The Creation lab” along with fellow interactive developer Lesley Klassen, filmmaker Danielle Sturk, cinematographer Andrew Forbes, NFB Executive Producer Dominic Desjardins, and Manger of Digital Platforms at the Canadian Museum for Human Right Scott Gillam. The panel will be moderated by Alicia Smith of the NFB
All Access starts January 11th and is a three day media production industry conference powered by OnScreen Manitoba in partnership with New Media Manitoba. Located at The Fairmont in Winnipeg, All Access features industry case studies, panels and interviews with a focus on sales and distribution for film, television and interactive.
The Creation Lab panel and Interactive Digital Media Showcase will be on January 11th starting at 4:15pm and 5:00pm respectively.
We look forward to sharing our completed projects with the local community and exploring future interactive and linear production opportunities within Canada.
