Intergalatic Defense at your Fingertips – Clandestine: Anomaly Launching Free on Android Devices July 29

July 29, 2015 – The new geo-based seek-and-destroy mobile game from artist conclave developer, ZenFri, will hit Google Play for free this month as the award-winning Clandestine: Anomaly launches for Android devices. Clandestine: Anomaly features incredibly immersive alien combat wrapped in a personalized narrative. You sit down to start playing a retro-styled 16-bit game titled “Clandestine: Anomaly” when suddenly your phone is hacked by an alien source. Overriding your game files, you’re soon notified that a spaceship is on a collision course with Earth and is looking for assistance to crash-land near your home.

You’re not the hero they were looking for, but you’re the one they got.

Play the first four levels for free, and unlock the full game for $3.99. In pursuit of the damaged ship that landed (quite literally) in your backyard is a mysterious reality-destroying virus; help save your neighborhood from total annihilation. If it isn’t contained, the virus will spread, threatening the entire planet. Matters only get more complicated as you’re pulled deeper into a hidden struggle that you weren’t ever authorized to be involved in.

Winner of the GamAR Metaio Developer Competition Grand Prize, Winnipeg-based developer ZenFri have created a masterful blend of augmented reality technology, engaging gameplay and rich, immersive storytelling with Clandestine: Anomaly. Unlock new skills and technologies, play with unique weapon configurations for customized load-outs, and immerse yourself in strategic and tactical combat that will ultimately affect you, your city and humanity as a whole.
